Wallendahl AS is one of Bergen’s oldest and most traditional trading houses, established in 1822 by Eilert Andreas Wallendahl. In 1986, Wallendahl AS merged with J. Berstad AS, both major companies in the distribution and sales of iron and steel products. Together they ran a wide range of retail and wholesale business, especially along the coast. The two companies demerged in 1998. Wallendahl AS was then established as its own limited company while J. Berstad AS is now dormant. Wallendahl AS is selling hardware, tools, paint, kitchen equipment, small electrical and garden equipments.
